In Florida, depending on the program, the assistance can be between $7,500 to $10,000 and among the main requirements are to be a first time house buyer, have a credit score of 680+ and have an income and purchase limit (depending on the County you will buy). Also, you need to be pre-approved for a mortgage and take a course on how the program works.
For example in Hillsborough County the income targeted limit is $80,845 for the FL Assist and FL HLP Second mortgage program and the house purchase limit is $360,067.
